FAQs

  • The lessons are available at €55 for one hour, or €35 for 30 minutes. You can BOOK YOUR LESSON HERE.

  • Sure, the best classes I have ever received were online classes.
I just need to be able to hear you and preferably see you from the waist to the top of your head. But even if I can’t see you, I’ll still be able to hear what you’re doing with your voice.

  • Just a regular webcam or the camera built into your laptop will do. You don’t need to invest in a great microphone.
If you’re using your phone, please mount your phone so you won’t need to hold it.
You will also need a skype account as I currently only use skype.

  • Yes! I advise you to bring your own recording device to record the lesson or you can press the record button on skype. The recordings are for personal use only and can’t be shared online or with any third parties.

  • If you don’t play any instruments that can guide you through the exercises I’m giving you, I strongly advise you to record the lesson so you can practice along with the recording at home.

I don’t work with pre-recorded audio files as each exercise is specifically designed for each student.

  • The classes are fully refundable or changeable up to 24 hours before the original booking. It’s not possible to cancel the lesson with less than 24 hours notice.

  • I teach students of all ages from 12 years and up. Beginners and advanced singers are both welcome in my class.

  • Weekly or bi-weekly lessons are generally advised. But it ultimately comes down to how much you practice and what you’d like to achieve. If you only want to take some lessons occasionally, that’s fine too.

Common misconceptions

  • Absolutely! You’d be amazed with the results you can book with the right guidance and consistency.
The idea that great singers are always born with a great voice is a myth.

  • Actual tone deafness is actually very rare. Likely you’re not tone deaf at all, but your voice just needs some time to adjust to the new coordinates you’re learning. Don’t worry, with the right guidance you will definitely improve!

  • Absolutely not! You can start singing at any age and still achieve great results!
Don’t let age or any other insecurities hold you back. If you like to sing, then go for it!

  • Belting can be bad for the voice, but it doesn’t have to be. This is why proper vocal technique is so important.
Volume control and nasal resonance will protect your voice, so that you’re not slamming your vocal cords with air.

  • No, the voice can be stretched quite a lot, so you can learn to sing soprano parts as well. However, stretching the lower part of the voice is more limited. Still, it is possible to improve the quality of these notes, so you will be able to comfortably sing in your lower range as well.
